How Does Benchmark Strip and Wax a Tile Floor?

Benchmark specializes in stripping and waxing tile floors. With over 25 years experience, we can renew any size floor. Our process includes 4 steps.

How it works:

We start with a pre-inspection to identify problem areas. Any problem spot areas are dicussed with the manager or owner.

1. Strip off the old wax.  We use agressive stripper chemicals to completely remove wax from the floor. The chemical used in conjunction with a heavy duty strip machine easily gets to the bare floor.
2. Edge all corners.  Next we will scrape clean any existing wax off of corners and edges. .
3. Clean & Rinse.  It’s followed by a thorough rinse of the bare floor to ensure that all the chemical has been removed before applying new wax.
4. Apply 3 to 5 coats of new wax. We apply 3 to 5 coats (or as many as desired) of high gloss, high durability wax

And there you have it! A beautiful new floor.
