How Does Benchmark Clean Home Carpets?

The High power of our extractors combined with the agitation of the Rotovac provide a deep clean that is unmatched compared with other types of cleaning. The process of having your carpets cleaned by us is very simple. Your experience will generally go as follows:
- Call us. Over the phone we can schedule a date to come clean your carpets. Also we can determine your basic cost by the number of rooms that will be cleaned and give an estimate over the phone.
- When we arrive, we will unload our equipment and begin cleaning. The first step will be to move any furniture that is not permantly fixed and is within reason. We do not move large furniture such as China cabinets or dressers.
- Secondly, we spray the carpet with a prespray cleaner and spot any stains that we feel might give us trouble with a stain remover.
- Next, it is time for the Rotovac and extractor to go to work. It will spray a hot water rinse solution into the carpet, agitating in the process to collect the dirt into the solution. And then extract the water out of the carpet. This process will actually restore your carpet back to a nuetral state and help repel future dirt.
- If desired, we then can coat the carpet with Scotchguard to make the carpet more stain resistant and easier to clean on our next visit.
- A final walk through is then performed to ensure that all stains have been removed, if not, we use special chemicals to remove even the toughest of stains.
- Finally we except payment for the work done. Either in the form of check, cash, or credit card.
